Fielkow declines to run for N.O. mayor - NOLA.com
I'm kind of surprised, since a lot of people think he could have won. But I guess the new mayor will be to Nagin what Obama is to Bush, and we can see now how hard it is to get your own shit done, as well as clean up someone else's mess with their old friends still there hassling you. Would the new mayor have the power to fire everyone that Nagin has hired?
