RTA puts together proposal for 3 new streetcar lines - NOLA.com

I like the idea of a St. Claude streetcar, but I don't get why they want one on Loyola, and the Riverfront Streetcar already goes to the Convention Center. It would make more sense to put one on S. Claiborne to connect to the St. Charles on Carrollton, and run a streetcar line all the way down Carrollton Ave. Then you'd be connecting a lot of residential areas to business areas. And if they tear down the N. Claiborne bridge, they could do a complete Claiborne line.
