“Words Hurt”: A (Personal) Reflection on Bullying as Verbal Violence « The Crunk Feminist Collective

It wasn't this bad for me, but I think that the bullying and harassment that I did receive is part of what made me become so good at being invisible.

This is one reason that, I do not temper my kids tongue. Bullying is real and you have to know how to fight back. My kids know that, if someone hits you...knock them out and if they try to bully you..wear them out verbally.
We come from a family of "smart mouths" so, it comes naturally for them.
I don't condone bullying and I refuse to let my kids fall victim to it.
